Gregory Hines, born
Feb. 14, 1946 in NYC (died in 2003), made his acting
debut in the 80's. He was performing long before
the 80's as a tap dancer, a skill which netted him more
than one dance related roll. His 80's movie
repertoire includes History of the World: Part 1
(1981), Wolfen (1981), Deal of the Century (1983), The
Muppets Take Manhattan (1984), The Cotton Club (1984),
White Nights (1985), Running Scared (1986), Off Limits
(1988), and Taps (1989). Hines died of liver
cancer. |
