GARY COLEMAN Gary Coleman, born Feb. 8, 1968 in Illinois, is probably best known for his role as Arnold Jackson on the TV series "Different Strokes."  Coleman has had a rather difficult past, with failing kidneys, parents out to rip him off, and suicidal tendencies.  He's even into politics these days!  Coleman basically dropped out of the 80's around 1985, but before that, he starred in a large number of TV shows and a couple of movies:  On the Right Track (1981) and Jimmy the Kid (1983).  Coleman still acts in the occasional movie.
