GABRIEL BYRNE Gabriel Byrne, born May 12, 1950 in Ireland, has been acting since the mid 60's.  Byrne is probably a better known actor now than he was in the 80's, but he still starred in a large number of movies:  Excalibur (1981), The Rocking Horse Winner (1983), Hanna K. (1983), The Keep (1983), Defense of the Realm (1985), Gothic (1986), Lionheart (1987), Julia and Julia (1987), Hello Again (1987), Siesta (1987), The Courier (1988), A Soldier's Tale (1988), and Diamond Skulls (1989).  He also starred in two TV mini-series that many of you might remember, Christopher Columbus (1985) & Mussolini:The Untold Story (1985)
