EDWARD JAMES OLMOS Edward James Olmos, born Feb. 24, 1947 in East L.A., is probably most recognized for his 80's role as Lt. Martin Castillo on the Miami Vice TV series.  Olmos had an equal amount of TV and movie rolls in the 80's.  Movies he starred in include Wolfen (1981), Zoot Suit (1981), Blade Runner (1982), Saving Grace (1985), Stand and Deliver (1988), & Triumph of the Spirit (1989).  Recently you might have seen him as Commander Adama on the Battlestar Galactica re-make series.
