ED O'NEILL Ed O'Neill, born April 12, 1946 in Ohio, is probably most known for his role as Al Bundy on the TV series Married with Children (1987+).  O'Neill basically had his start in the 80's, starring in Cruising (1980), The Dogs of War (1981), Disorganized Crime (1988), and K-9 (1989).  He also starred in a ton of made-for-tv movies during the 80's.  He had a solid 90's career & keeps on working.
