ED BEGLEY, JR. Ed Begley, Jr. was born September 16, 1949 in Los Angeles, is probably best known for his portrayal of Dr. Victor Erlich on the TV series "St. Elsewhere."  Begley, Jr. has been very busy since the 70's, and even had a small role on Battlestar Galactica (he was also a voice on the Smurfs and Scooby Doo).  He had a very busy decade in the 80's, and excluding his TV roles, he starred in many movies:  Private Lessons (1981), Buddy Buddy (1981), Voyager from the Unknown (1982), Eating Raoul (1982), Cat People (1982), Young Doctors in Love (1982), Get Crazy (1983), This is Spinal Tap (1984), Streets of Fire (1984), Protocol (1984), Waiting to Act (1985), Transylvania 6-5000 (1985), Amazon Women on the Moon (1987), The Accidental Tourist (1988), Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (1988), and She-Devil (1989).  Very busy guy.
