DON KNOTTS Don Knotts was born July 21, 1924 in West Virginia (died 2006).  We have to admit, we are huge fans of the Andy Griffith show, and always get a kick out of Barney Fife.  If you remember, Knotts played Mr. Furley on Threes Company until 1984, and even starred on Matlock from 1989 to 1990.  Although mostly a TV star in the 80's, Knotts did star in a few movies:  The Private Eyes (1981) and Cannonball Run II (1984).  A very endearing actor and darn funny.
