DICK VAN PATTEN Dick Van Patten was born Dec. 9, 1928 in New York.  Some of you out there might be wondering why we are including Van Patten on this site.  Simple.  Van Patten, whose actually been on TV since the 50's, was part of two very important series:  The Love Boat, and Eight is Enough.  There were several Eight is Enough reunion shows in the 80's, and in addition to these, Van Patten made several other TV appearances.  He also starred in that wacky movie called Spaceballs (1987).
