DEFOREST KELLEY Deforest Kelley, born Jan. 20, 1920 in Atlanta (died in 1999), is probably best known for his role as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy on the Star Trek TV and movie series.  We are closet Trekkies here at www.ilovethe80s.com, so we were sorry to hear he had passed away.  Kelley's career went way back to the 1940's, but by the time the 80's rolled around, Star Trek is all Kelley did.  He starred in Star Trek (1979), The Wrath of Kahn (1982), The Search for Spock (1984), The Voyage Home (1986), The Final Frontier (1989), The Undiscovered Country (1991), and of course guest appearances on Next Generation.
