DEAN MARTIN Dean Martin was born June 7, 1917 (died in 1995).  Some of you are probably wondering why we include him on a site about the 1980's, but we have a good reason:  Cannonball Run (1981) and Cannon Ball Run 2 (1984).  Dean Martin, for all intents and purposes, quit performing after these movies were released.  His career went way back to the late 40's, but Cannonball Run was such a great early 80's movie, with a ton of great actors, we had to mention Martin.
