DANNY DEVITO Danny Devito, born Nov. 17, 1944 in New Jersey, used to be a hairdresser before getting into acting (go figure).  Devito started way back in the 70's, really making a name for himself in the TV series "Taxi."  He starred in a ton of movies in the 80's, including Going Ape (1981), Terms of Endearment (1983), Romancing the Stone (1984), Johnny Dangerously (1984), The Jewel of the Nile (1985), Head Office (1985), Wise Guys (1986), Ruthless People (1986), Tim Men (1987), Throw Mamma from the Train (1987), Twins (1988), and The War of the Roses (1989).  Batman Returns was not until 1992.
