Dan Aykroyd, born July
1, 1952 in Canada, first made a name for himself on SNL
in the mid to late 1970's. By the time the 80's
rolled around, Aykroyd was a huge box office draw.
His 80's movie list is long: The Blues Brothers
(1980), Neighbors (1981), Doctor Detroit (1983), Trading
Places (1983), Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983), Indiana
Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), Ghostbusters
(1984), Nothing Lasts Forever (1984), Into the Night
(1985), Spies Like Us (1985), Dragnet (1987), The Couch
Trip (1988), The Great Outdoors (1988), Cadyshack II
(1988), My Stepmother is an Alien (1988), Ghostbusters 2
(1989), and Driving Miss Daisy (1989). What a
list! |
