ALEC GUINESS Buy New and Used Sir Alec Guiness, born on April 2, 1914 in the UK (died in 2000), had a career dating back to the 1940's.  Of course we all love Guiness as Obi-wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars Trilogy, but other 80's movies he starred in were as follows:  Raise the Titanic (1980), Lovesick (1983), A Passage to India (1984), Little Dorrit (1988), and A Handful of Dust (1988).  He quit performing in 1996.
