Christopher Cross released four albums in the 1980's:
Christopher Cross
(1980),
Another Page (1983),
Every Turn of the World
(1985), and
Back of My Mind (1988). Many of you will
remember the song "Sailing" from 1980, or "Think of Laura" from 1983.
There are more hits on the greatest hits album (Ride Like the Wind, All
Right, Arthur's Theme). Cross had a new release as late as 2000 (Red
Room). |

SAILING:
[starts] Well, it's not far down to
paradise, at least it's not for me,
And if the wind is right you can sail away and
find tranquility
[chorus] Sailing takes me away to where I've
always heard it could be,
Just a dream and the wind to carry me,
And soon I will be free [etc] |
