Buy New and Used GREATEST HITS No, that is not Whitesnake.  Vixen hit the scene late in the 80's with their 1988 self-titled release.  You might remember the song "On the Edge of a Broken Heart."  They also had a release in 1990 (Rev It Up) and as late as 1998 (Tangerine).  There weren't too many all girl bands out there in metal land.  There was an another early 80's band also called Vixen, that featured Marty Friedman as the guitarist, but we are not featuring them here. 1988 Self-Titled Debut 1990 Rev It Up 2000 Vixen/Helix Box Set
