Why a heavy metal band would name themselves after an
innocuous flower is beyond us. Krokus began in the mid 70's, but it wasn't
until their 1980 release,
Metal Rendezvous, that they began
playing traditional metal. Krokus is best remembered, at
least by those of us here at
www.ilovethe80s.com, for their 1984
release,
The Blitz, with hits such as "Midnight Maniac" and the
"Ballroom Blitz" remake. They released 7 albums
in the 80's and never slowed down. They even had a new release as
late as 2003 (Rock
the Block). |
