The Serpent and the
Rainbow, released in 1988, starred Bill Pullman and
Cathy Tyson. In this movie, Pullman plays the role
of a Harvard researcher who travels to Haiti to get his
hands on some special potion. This potion, when consumed, makes a person
appear to be dead. Low and behold, as things begin
to get interesting in the Haitian world of Voodoo,
Pullman ends up ingesting some of the potion, and is
subsequently slated for burial. Does he make it
out alive? |
