Buy New and Used   The Elephant Man, released in 1980, starred Anthony Hopkins and John Hurt.  This movie tells the true story of John Merrick (Hurt in the movie), a young man with severe physical face deformities and a heart of gold.  He was tormented by people for his looks.  He even works at the circus as the freakish "elephant man."  Needlesstosay, his soft nature wins many people over.  He dies at a very young age, but he dies in peace.
