Starring Paul Newman
and Tom Cruise, The Color of Money was released in 1986.
This movie is actually a sequel to a 1961 movie called
"The Hustler," which also starred Newman. In this
movie, Eddie (Newman) takes a talented pool shark named
Vincent (Cruise) under his wings, and convinces him to
travel to a big money pool tournament in Atlantic City.
This is a cynical movie about greed and the relationship
between Eddie, Vincent, and Vincent's girlfriend.
