Buy New and Used   Staying Alive (1983), starring John Travolta, was the sequel to Saturday Night Fever.  Believe it or not, this flick was written and directed by Sly Stallone.  This sequel follows Tony Manero (Travolta) as he travels to New York to try it make it on Broadway.  Need less to say, Travolta's career did everything but "stay alive" after this movie.  It wasn't until Pulp Fiction that his career was resurrected.
