Do the Right Thing,
released in 1989, was a social commentary on 80's race
relations that starred Danny Aiello, Spike Lee, Samuel
L. Jackson, and Ossie Davis. The entire
action takes place on one city block, on the hottest day
of the summer. Ultimately, the events of the
storyline
culminate in a violent riot at the end of the movie,
which caused some controversy among critics. |
