Buy New and Used   Starring Richard Dreyfuss, Audrey Hepburn, Holly Hunter, and John Goodman, Always was released in 1989.  This movie follows the life or pilot/fire fighter, Pete (Dreyfuss), and his girlfriend, Dorinda (Hunter), who worries about his acts of bravado.  Well, Pete dies trying to save a friend (played by John Goodman), and then comes back as a "ghost," for lack of a better term, to encourage the new fire fighting recruit, Ted, who happens to be interested in Dorinda.
