Buy New and Used   One Crazy Summer, released in 1986, starred John Cusack, Demi Moore, and Bobcat Goldthwaith.  Cusack stars as Hoops, a high school senior about to embark on a college career, but only if he can get his art project done in time.  He hooks up with Cassandra (Moore) on the way to Nantucket to brainstorm, and the rest of the movie is about finding a way for her to save her relative's house.  Complicated plot, but funny.
