Pfeiffer as Angela de Marco, Alec Baldwin as Frank de
Marco, and Matthew Modine as Agent Mike Downey, Married to
the Mob was released in 1988. The movie received
mostly positive reviews back in the day, and more than
doubled it's budget at the box office.
In this movie, mob
wife Angela DeMarco (Pfeiffer) wants out of the mob.
After her husband, Frank (Baldwin) is killed by the head mob boss
(Tony "the Tiger"), she figures now is her chance.
The only problem is, Tony now has the hots for her, and
the FBI think they can use her as bait to get
process of Angela's breaking away from the mob, the
FBI's attempt to use her to get to Tony, Tony's wife
thinking that Angela is the "other woman" in Tony's
life, and undercover FBI agent Mike Downey's (Modine)
affection for her, things get pretty funny.
