Dirty Rotten
Scoundrels, a great comedy released in 1988, starred
Steve Martin and Michael Caine. In this movie,
Caine plays the role of Laurence Jamieson, a debonair
con man who court rich old ladies, then robs them blind.
When another con named Freddy Benson (Martin) starts
honing in on Jamieson's territory, a rivalry begins.
A deal is struck. The first to extract 50k from
rich old lady Janet Colgate gets to stay in town, the
