The original
Arthur, starring Dudley Moore, was released in 1981 (Arthur
2 was released in 1988). Moore plays the perpetually
intoxicated millionaire, Arthur Bach, who falls in love
with a lowly waitress (Liza Minelli). The problem,
for Arthur, is that is father is forcing him to marry
somebody he has picked out, as a favor to the family.
