Not sure about the East or West coast, but in the Midwest, cinnamon tooth picks were a gig deal.  With a bottle of cinnamon oil extract, a kid could soak many, many toothpicks and then sell them for a nice profit (junior high).  You always knew who had been chewing on one, as the area around their mouth would be beat red.  You can't get cinnamon toothpicks here, so to make things more interesting on this page, we included 80's movies posters!  Do you have some strange fads?  Scroll down to the bottom of this page and tells us about them.
